80+1 Special Tours
The Ars Electronica Center is offering 80+1 Special Tours in conjunction with this adventure. In Deep Space, you can go on an expedition to historical sites, view world-famous works of art, and visit interactive island & jungle worlds. GeoCity delivers a completely new perspective on the city as a setting for everyday life – and, in fact, the one in which most inhabitants of this planet already spend their quotidian existence. The final destination is the 80+1 Base Camp on Linz’s Main Square. In and around the 80+1 Base Camp is where the Live Bits are dispersed – interactive installations connecting Linz to the rest of the world in real time. In addition to these Live Bits, the Base Camp also feature a so-called Global Window. It displays a live remote hook-up to some spot on Earth and also serves as a presentation and discussion interface.
Individuals (of 16 years and older) as well as groups of up to 20 are cordially invited to take an 80+1 Special Tour (language: German). We request that groups make a reservation at least three weeks prior to the day of your visit (language: German and English).

- Duration: 1,5 hours (not including in-transit time)
- Times:
- 2:30 PM for individual visitors (no reservations necessary)
- 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM for groups (who are respectfully requested to make reservations)
